Title: 'Westminster Haze' Framed & Signed Original Oil On Canvas By Andrew Grant Kurtis
Description: A framed original oil painting by Andrew Grant Kurtis titled "Westminster Haze" captures the iconic silhouette of Westminster enveloped in a delicate, atmospheric mist. Measuring approximately 10 inches in height and 12 inches in width, this painting balances its dimensions to create an intimate yet expansive portrayal of one of London's most recognizable landmarks. Kurtis, known for his ability to convey mood and light with subtlety and precision, presents the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben shrouded in a soft haze, evoking a sense of timelessness and tranquillity.
The composition of "Westminster Haze" is characterized by Kurtis's meticulous brushwork and his skilful use of a muted colour palette. Soft blues, greys, and earthy tones dominate the scene, enhancing the misty atmosphere and creating a serene, almost dreamlike quality. The outlines of the grand architectural features of Westminster emerge gently from the haze, while the waters of the Thames below reflect the diffused light, adding depth and a sense of movement to the painting. The interplay of light and shadow is subtle yet effective, drawing the viewer's eye across the canvas and inviting them to linger on the details.

Frame is wood, finished in a black silk.
