Description
Recently graded from a single owner collection, this 1950 Bowman Ted Williams is a superb example for the grade. Ted Williams, often hailed as one of the greatest hitters in baseball history, spent his entire career with the Boston Red Sox. A two-time MVP and six-time batting champion, he famously hit .406 in 1941—the last MLB player to bat over .400 in a season. Known as "The Splendid Splinter," Williams was also a decorated World War II and Korean War pilot and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1966.
