The group includes key hall of fame inductees Jean Beliveau, Rocket Richard, Doug Harvey, Boom Boom Geoffrion, and George Armstrong as well as Old Time Greats Lalonde, Conacher and Primeau. The group also includes card #71 Plante is Protected, showing the hall of fame goaltender in his rookie season. The set is missing card #50 Jacques Plante as well as the following cards: #1, 2, 3, 6, 13, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28, 38, 39, 50, 53, 56, 59, 60, 67, 68, 70, 76, 78, and 79. The group includes 56 duplicated cards including Hap Day, Ted Kennedy (3), Charlie Conacher, and Joe Primeau.

Condition
The set ranges in condition but is overall low grade. Old Time Greats Primeau, Conacher, and Lalonde are very good, crease free and exhibit excellent surfaces. Richard Geoffrion and Plante is protected are also good-very good and crease free with imperfect corners. Harvey, Beliveau and Armstrong are poor with creases and surface imperfections. The majority of the cards within the set are low grade despite presentable eye appeal showing minor wrinkles and creases. Duplicated cards are lower grade than the photographed set example.
