Offered here are a pair of extremely scarce Hamilton Tigers programs from the 1912 and 1913 seasons. The 1912 program features a October 26th game where Hamilton Took on the Toronto Argos at Hamiltons A.A.A Grounds. The 1913 program features a October 25th game against the Ottawa Rough Riders. The 1912 and 1913 seasons marked an important turning point for the Hamilton Tigers. In 1912, the Tigers finished 3–3 in the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union while facing strong competition from the Hamilton Alerts, who captured Hamilton’s first Grey Cup. The following year, the Tigers emerged as the dominant Hamilton club, going 5–1 and scoring 143 points while allowing just 37. They capped the season by overwhelming the Toronto Parkdale Canoe Club 44–2 to win their first Grey Cup, with Ross Craig scoring a record three touchdowns.

The 1912 program exhibits minor staining to the cover with spine wear. Minor edge tears. Internal pages are excellent. The 1913 program is excellent with a central vertical crease and minor tears to internal pages. Minor right edge tear to cover. Stains to reverse cover.
