A significant grouping, the 10 programs offered here represent the Grey Cups ranging from 1949-1959. The group includes 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1956, 1957 (2 different examples), 1958, 1959. The run is missing the years 1954 and 1955. Highlights include the 1949 Grey Cup, when the Montreal Alouettes captured their first championship; the 1950 “Mud Bowl,” one of the most memorable weather-affected games in Grey Cup history; Toronto’s 1952 championship; Hamilton’s first Grey Cup victory in 1953; and Edmonton’s 1956 championship, the third in its historic three-year run. The group continues through Hamilton’s 1957 victory and Winnipeg’s back-to-back championships in 1958 and 1959. Included with one of the 1957 examples is the ripped Ticket used to enter the game.

Condition
The condition of the group is overall superb. The 1949 cover exhibits a central crease and right edge cover tear. The 1950 'Mud Bowl' program is excellent with very minor surface creases to the front and back covers. The 1951 program is excellent with minor surface cover creases. The 1952 program is superb. The 1953 program exhibits some spine wear, the lineup card requires re-stapling and exhibits some pencil marks. The 1956 program is superb. Both 1957 programs are excellent. The 1957 'Souvenir Programme' shows minor surface cover wrinkles and staining to the inner lineup page. The ticket to the game is stapled to the inner page and has been ripped in half. The alternate 1957 programme is very good with a minor top edge spine tear and pen marks to lineup page. The 1958 and 1959 programs are superb. All programs retain their lineup pages. The 1949 program does not show a traditional lineup page but information as to whether it would have originally is lacking.
