Offered here is a unique team photo connecting some of Canada's earliest sporting legends to sports outside of what they were later known for playing. This Ottawa parish powerhouse Football team captured the City League and Quebec Rugby Union titles before advancing to the Dominion Intermediate Final. The team’s roster includes several significant figures in Canadian sports history, including future Hockey Hall of Famers Frank “King” Clancy and Alex Connell, Canadian Football Hall of Fame pioneer Sylvester “Silver” Quilty, and manager James McCaffrey, who later guided the Ottawa Rough Riders to consecutive Grey Cup championships in 1925 and 1926. Following Clancy's playing in the Intermediate football final, he would go on to start his professional hockey career for the Ottawa Senators, a career that would go on to be one of Canadian Hockey's most famous.
