The Super Series of 1975-76 was the first series of exhibition games between Soviet club teams and NHL opponents, played in North America from December 1975 through January 1976. The tour featured the Soviet Red Army and Soviet Wings against NHL clubs, highlighted by the Red Army’s 3–3 tie with the Montreal Canadiens and a 4–1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers in the series finale. Offered here is a group of memorabilia associated with that event originally from the collection of Ron Stewart, the Coach of New York at the time of the event. The group includes a New York Rangers Team signed program from the December 28th 1975 game with Phil Esposito and Rod Gilbert. An additional unsigned program is included, a Soviet Wings mini pennant with pin, a pair of Ron Stewart Signed photos, and an event press package with two real photos of Vladislav Tretiak and Aleksandr Yakushev.
