A recent find from a single family collection, this trio of full tickets from game 3 of the 1972 Summit series are a rarity associated with one of the most significant sporting moments in hockey history. PSA has evaluated a total of 13 full tickets from game three of the Summit Series with only two ever graded higher than this PSA 9. The two other tickets, apart of the same find, reside ungraded but in nearly identical condition. The trio of tickets are consecutive seats from the game running from Section 13A row 28 seat 6-8. Game 3 of the 1972 Summit Series was played at Winnipeg Arena on September 6, where Canada twice held two-goal leads before the Soviet Union rallied to earn a 4–4 tie. The eight-game Summit Series between Canada and the Soviet Union marked the first major hockey competition between the two nations, with Canada winning the series 4–3–1 after Paul Henderson scored the deciding goal in the final game in Moscow.

One of the three full tickets have been graded a 9 Mint by PSA and resides without notable flaw. The remaining pair of tickets, apart of the same find, reside in very comparable condition. Very minor corner knicks may be noted by some who evaluate the tickets.
