Title: Vintage Hand‑Painted Folk‑Art Matryoshka Set of 5 – Pipe‑Smoking Man
Description: A lovely, complete set of five traditional hand‑painted folk‑art matryoshka (Russian nesting) dolls, each a different character and size so they nest neatly one inside the other.
The set is led by a distinguished man holding a long pipe – the classic "smoking" matryoshka, a much‑loved and more sought‑after motif among collectors – followed by a mother with a spotted headscarf cradling flowers, a woman in a green cap, a blonde woman in red, and a tiny baby doll.
Bold black outlines, flat blocks of bright colour, stylised faces and simple floral details give the whole set a warm, authentic folk‑art character that's perfect for a shelf, mantel, cabinet or as a collector's piece.
