Lotus simulated pearls are collectible, high-quality vintage costume jewellery manufactured primarily by the Birmingham-based Lotus Pearl factory in England from 1910s through the 1980s. 
They are not natural or cultured pearls; instead, they are faux pearls crafted with a round shape, distinct pale ivory or cream colour, and a highly realistic lustre designed to mimic genuine pearls.
