Title: Pair of Marquetry and Ormolu Mounted Side Lamp Tables
Description: Pair of Marquetry and Ormolu Mounted Side Lamp Tables

We are pleased to offer an attractive pair of circular lamp tables in the Louis XVI style

The tables have a circular top finely veneered in walnut and kingwood, with radiating veneers and elaborate foliate marquetry centred by a floral motif.
The tops are enclosed by brass rims.
The panelled friezes are decorated with gilt metal neoclassical mounts, including female masks and laurel wreath motifs.
Each table is raised on four straight tapering legs with contrasting line inlay, terminating in gilt metal paw feet.

The combination of detailed marquetry, warm figured veneers and extensive gilt metal ornament gives the pair a particularly attractive presence.

Offered in very good condition with commensurate with age.
A few minor marks to table tops
