Oil on canvas
Indistinctly signed 'O. Cernk' (centre right)
55.5 x 45.5cm (21¾ x 17¾in.)
Unframed

Condition Report:
The work is unframed and not relined. There are scuffs and abrasions to the medium at the extreme edges of the work. Inspection under UV light reveals some areas of retouching, mostly to the lapels of subject's jacket, and enchantments to his hair, and infilling to a horizontal mark to the lower left quadrant (approx. 7cm). Parts of the canvas to the edge of the stretcher are frayed, notably to the upper left hand side.
