Details:
Historic .38 caliber bullet fired from the actual Colt Cobra revolver used by Jack Ruby to shoot Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24, 1963, in the basement of Dallas Police Headquarters. Accompanied by its spent cartridge casing, the bullet was fired from the original revolver, Serial No. 2744 LW, as part of a limited "Owner's Proof Edition."
The bullet and casing are presented in an attractive custom-framed display featuring an engraved identification plaque, a certificate of authenticity issued by Anthony V. Pugliese III of the National Historical Mint, and a photograph capturing the moment Ruby shot Oswald.
The photograph is autographed by Dallas Police detectives Jim Leavelle and L. C. Graves, who were escorting Oswald at the time of the shooting, along with Earl Ruby, Jack Ruby's brother.
The assassination of Oswald occurred just two days after President John F. Kennedy was killed in Dallas, making Ruby's revolver one of the most historically significant firearms associated with the Kennedy assassination.
Professionally double-matted and framed to an overall size of approximately 16 x 22 inches. Fine condition. Not inspected outside of the frame.
