Details:

John Glenn autographed photograph display, featuring a vintage black-and-white photograph mounted within its original presentation matte. Glenn has boldly signed "John H. Glenn, Jr." in black ink on the matte beneath the image.

A typed provenance label affixed to the reverse states that Glenn personally autographed the display at Gregory's Penthouse Restaurant in Phoenix on February 26, 1983, noting that he used the collector's presidential pen.

The photograph measures approximately 7 x 5 inches, with the overall vintage matte measuring approximately 9.5 x 7.25 inches. Fine condition with expected light age and handling wear to the matte.

John H. Glenn Jr. (1921–2016) was an American astronaut, Marine Corps aviator, and U.S. Senator. On February 20, 1962, aboard Friendship 7, Glenn became the first American to orbit the Earth and the third American in space. He later represented Ohio in the United States Senate from 1974 to 1999. In 1998, at age 77, Glenn returned to space aboard Space Shuttle Discovery, becoming the oldest person at that time to fly in space.
