Jonathan Judson (1727–1804) was a prominent Connecticut public official and jurist active during the Revolutionary and early national periods. He served in a variety of state and local offices and was closely involved in Connecticut's public financial administration. Documents such as this reflect the complicated process by which Connecticut accounted for and serviced public debt accumulated during and following the American Revolution.
