A remarkable pair of original architectural blueprint drawings relating to the construction and expansion of the Scaglietti coachworks on Via Emilia Est, Modena. The principal drawing bears the title 'Fabbricato a Tipo Artigiano della "Scaglietti – Carrozzerie" in Via Emilia Est' and illustrates the proposed workshop building in plan and elevation, documenting the purpose-built facility from which some of Ferrari's most celebrated competition and road cars would emerge during the 1960s and beyond (118x33 CM).
Accompanying this is a second municipal engineering drawing, dated 25 March 1960, detailing the construction of an electrical transformer substation serving the new premises, together with its relationship to the adjacent Via Emilia Est and the Fossa Monda canal (82x31 CM). Both drawings carry period annotations and official municipal references.
Preserved within the personal archive of Sergio Scaglietti, these highly evocative working plans document the physical creation of the coachbuilder's Maranello headquarters at the moment the company was entering its most celebrated period of collaboration with Ferrari. As original architectural records of the Scaglietti works itself, they represent exceptionally rare documentary survivors from one of the most important sites in Ferrari history.
