From the estate of a French authorised Ferrari concessionaire active during the 1970s, this New Old Stock Ferrari 275 GTB / GTB/4 front clip is an exceptionally rare surviving original Scaglietti body panel.

Hand-formed in steel by Scaglietti, the nose section has subsequently been painted, fitted with badges and lights, and mounted on a freestanding display frame to create a striking decorative piece. 

Original 275 GTB body panels of this type are now exceptionally difficult to source. The front end is among the most distinctive and complex forms in Ferrari’s coachbuilt repertoire, defined by subtle proportions, surface transitions and detailing that are notoriously difficult to reproduce with complete accuracy. While reproduction nose sections are available today, an original Scaglietti panel such as this preserves the period construction methods, welds, contours and hand-finished characteristics of the factory-built bodywork.

A remarkable piece of original Ferrari coachbuilding, both as an artefact of Scaglietti craftsmanship and as a highly evocative display object in its own right.
