An exceptionally rare original English-language sales brochure for the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B, published in January 1938 (Publication No. 386 – 1-1938-XVI) and produced for Thomson & Taylor (Brooklands) Ltd., Alfa Romeo's official distributors for the British Empire. Superbly designed in the bold Art Deco style characteristic of the late 1930s, the brochure features striking colour artwork and period photography illustrating the 8C 2900B in both Coupé and Spyder form, together with detailed images of the chassis, engine and cockpit. The interior includes comprehensive technical specifications and descriptive text outlining the advanced engineering, performance and refinement of what is widely regarded as one of the greatest pre-war sporting automobiles ever built. The front cover is overprinted with the Thomson & Taylor (Brooklands) Ltd., Brooklands Track, Weybridge, Surrey distributor stamp, confirming issue for the British market.
A small area of water staining to the bottom of one panel, otherwise good general condition.
