A collection of 16 original official programmes for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, spanning the years 1955 to 1970 and documenting one of the most celebrated periods in endurance racing history.
The group includes programmes from many of the event's defining editions, covering the era of Jaguar, Aston Martin and Ferrari's fierce rivalry, through the dominance of Ford and Porsche in the late 1960s. The striking period artwork and photography reflect the evolution of both the race and its visual identity, making these programmes as desirable for their graphic design as for their historical significance.
An increasingly difficult group to assemble today, the collection offers an excellent reference archive for enthusiasts of Le Mans, Ferrari and international endurance racing. Good overall condtion, all original examples.
