Description
U.S. Army olive drab woven canvas pistol belt with adjustable metal hardware, multiple rows of reinforced eyelets, and accompanying Model 1912 two-cell pistol magazine pouch. The pouch is clearly ink-stamped "JAN. RUSSELL 1919," identifying Russell Manufacturing Company of Middletown, Connecticut. The belt exhibits scattered staining, discoloration, and handling wear, with oxidation and patina on the metal fittings. The magazine pouch retains its original snap fasteners and shows age-related wear.
