This is a first year production 16" bayonet manufactured in 1906 by Springfield Armory. It fits the Model 1903 Rifle and can also fit on the later produced M1 Garand Rifle. It comes with a rare and not often seen USN Mark 1 Scabbard for a 16" Blade. The Bayonet is in good condition with nice wood grips. Blade shows some wear as you get closer to the tip but still solid and presents well with nice parkerized finish as you get closer to the actual markings. Push button works great. Nice Collector's Item!
