FFL stands for Federal Firearms License, which among other things requires gun dealers to run background checks on potential buyers. Several types of guns are exempt from this requirement, including black powder rifles, muzzle loaders, air guns, airsoft, and antique guns, or replicas using matchlocks, flintlocks, or percussion caps
Any firearm that is purchased outside of the United States is subject to that country's laws, and will require it to be shipped through The FFL we work with , because it will require an export license .
In addition any antique firearms that ammunition is still being manufactured will still require it to be shipped by an FFL to an FFL , even if you have a curio FFL license. Unless your are picking up locally and have a relic/ curio FFL.
Ammo, and primers require special shipping. UPS ONLY! Local pickup advised as shipping can be expensive. There is extra fees and possibly weight based fees for shipping.
