About the Art and the Artist:
Rare opportunity to buy this rare vintage 2006 subversive take on Disney world - don't miss out! ThIS will look absolutely magnificent framed together!
Cautys ‘Bioworld’ captures a modern day context of Mickey mouse in his Disney Land Holiday resort.
The rarity of all of this work just amplifies this collectibility, I am obviously letting this go reluctantly.
James Cauty has now been publishing works through the L-13 in it's three previous guises ('The Aquarium', 'The Aquarium L-13' and the 'L-13 Light Industrial Workshop') for 19 years since the first Blacksmoke Stamps of Mass Destruction 'Gas Mask Queen' pieces.
His output over that time has been prolific, classy, quirky, dark, humorous, controversial, thought-provoking and delightfully edgy and hard-hitting, making him really like-able and collectable.  There is always something for every budget with Jimmy's work too.
A great artist...an iconic gallery...amazing value-for-money rare British art at it's best.
Cauty has recently jointly exhibited with Banksy and his Small World Re-enactments are phenomenal.  Research his immense back-catalogue, you will be stunned by his imaginative productions.
Over a diverse and productive career Cauty has distinguished himself as a musician, record producer, artist and cultural provocateur through fusions of high art, low art and popularist mediums to spectacular effect.
As a teenager Cauty drew the intricate multi-million selling Lord of the Rings poster for British retailer Athena. With Alex Patterson as The Orb and with Bill Drummond as The KLF and the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, Cauty co-wrote and produced a string of global top ten hits. As The K-Foundation, Cauty and Drummond staged a series of seminal actions including the 1994 K Foundation Art Award for Worst Artist of the Year and the K Foundation Burn A Million Quid.
