Framed original watercolour landscape attributed to James Aumonier RI (1832–1911), British Victorian landscape painter and Royal Institute member. 
The consignment appears to comprise two related works in ornate gilt frames: a coastal beach scene with wet sand, tidal pools and seabirds under a cloudy sky, and a woodland/rural view with tall trees, cottage and grassy foreground, the latter clearly signed ‘J. Aumonier’ lower right with a mount label reading ‘J. AUMONIER. RI. 1832–1911.’ Approximate sight size about 20 × 16 inches as stated. 
Condition reported good and clean with no noted foxing, fading or frame damage; glass reflections limit full surface inspection. 
Attractive decorative pair of period watercolours in matching-style gilt frames suitable for a general or fine art auction.
