Details:

Artimus Pyle autographed handwritten song lyrics to Lynyrd Skynyrd's legendary rock anthem "Free Bird," written in blue ink on an approximately 8.5 x 11-inch sheet featuring the band's colorful logo at the top.

Pyle has handwritten a portion of the song's famous lyrics:

"And if I stay here with you girl
Things just couldn't be the same
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird you cannot change
Lord knows I'm to blame
I can't change..."

The sheet is headed "FREEBIRD" with the notation "by RVZ," referencing the band's late frontman Ronnie Van Zant. Pyle has signed his name and added "Lynyrd Skynyrd" and "RVZ" beneath the lyrics, along with a large hand-drawn peace symbol.

An attractive tribute to one of the most recognizable songs in Southern rock history, handwritten by a member of the legendary band.

Fine condition.
