Ruth Collins Altshuler (1926–2021) was a prominent Dallas civic leader who served as foreman of the Dallas County grand jury that indicted Jack Ruby for the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Altshuler later became widely known for her philanthropic and cultural contributions in Dallas and remained involved in public commemorations connected to the Kennedy assassination throughout her life. Her direct connection to one of the most significant legal proceedings arising from the assassination gives her autograph strong historical relevance.
