Doug Chiang (1962-) is an American film designer, concept artist, and production designer best known for his extensive work on the Star Wars franchise. After beginning his career in visual effects and design, Chiang joined Lucasfilm and served as design director for Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace and Episode II - Attack of the Clones, helping establish the visual language of the prequel era. He later returned to Lucasfilm as Vice President and Executive Creative Director, contributing to numerous Star Wars film and television productions and becoming one of the franchise's most influential visual designers.
