Title: Fine Red Chalk Male Nude Set in Gilt Frame
Description: Figure Study in Red Chalk – After Rubens
Mid to Late 20th Century, Continental School

A finely executed red chalk figure study depicting a muscular male nude in dynamic pose, inspired by the anatomical sketches of Peter Paul Rubens. The drawing demonstrates strong academic draughtsmanship and a clear interest in classical form and movement.

Signed "Rubens" to the lower right — likely a reference to the source rather than an attribution of authorship.

Mounted in a warm-toned triple mat and presented under glass in an ornate gilt frame.
