Antique 1926 Peace Silver Dollar, representing an important era in American coinage following the conclusion of World War I. Designed by sculptor Anthony de Francisci, the coin features a portrait of Lady Liberty on the obverse and a majestic bald eagle resting on a rock on the reverse. First introduced in 1921, the Peace Dollar was created to commemorate the restoration of peace following the Great War and became one of the most recognizable designs in United States silver coinage. This 1926 example offers an interesting piece of early 20th-century American history and a classic addition to any collection of vintage United States coins. RH50752
