On April 21, 2022, Bertoia’s will issue a boarding call to collectors as they auction the third and final grouping of exceptional American and European trains from Paul’s legendary holdings. In addition, the sale will include European tin wind-ups, American tin, cast-iron automotive, horse-drawn and bell toys; and diminutive penny toys – all from Paul’s personal collection.
‘Girl with Candy’ photo in Clars April 24 auction to benefit Ukraine
OAKLAND, Calif. – Clars Auction Gallery will offer the first printings of Girl with Candy by Ukrainian photographer Oleksii Kyrychenko. With his permission, the photograph was printed in Oakland in a limited edition of five, all of which will be auctioned in Clars’s April 24 sale, estimated at $1,000-$2,000 apiece. Kyrychenko has requested that half of the proceeds be donated to Come Back Alive, a non-governmental organization helping the Ukrainian military by supplying its troops with technical support and medical aid.

He married South African supermodel Behati Prinsloo in 2014 and had two children with her, and the couple has continued to pursue buy-and-flip homes projects. The latest acquisition is Rob Lowe’s former home in Montecito, purchased for $52 million.
