LONDON – The 2023 edition of Masterpiece London and the summer Art & Antiques Fair Olympia have both been cancelled, leaving a crater in the British capital’s summer season. Dealers are now scrambling to find alternative selling strategies as they face a compressed calendar of fairs.

Tampa museum to receive loan of record-setting dinosaur skeleton

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) – The Glazer Children’s Museum in Tampa is champing at the bit to show off the real dinosaur skeleton it is getting – not one of those plaster or robotic ones. It’s nicknamed Big John after the South Dakota rancher whose land was the final resting place for the ancient bones, which set a Guinness record for the largest triceratops skeleton ever uncovered.

NEW YORK — Architect and designer Frank Gehry (Canadian and American, b. 1929-) is best known for his building projects, such as the Vitra Design Museum in Germany, Spain’s Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Olympic Fish Pavilion in Barcelona. As he approaches his 94th birthday on February 28, Gehry is still at work on architectural projects, but he creates much more than that. His designs for the home and his wearable art creations for Tiffany & Co. have been groundbreaking.
