SARASOTA, Fla. — Andrew Ford, owner and auctioneer of Sarasota Estate Auction, has secured important and powerful works of art for the auction house’s next sale, which takes place Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24. Headlining this 1,300-lot auction will be works by 20th-century American artists Albert York, Romare Howard Bearden and John Chamberlain. In addition, more than 30 pieces of art glass from artists including Dale Chihuly, Stephen Powell and Martin Blank will be sold from the Ringling collection to benefit the scholarship program at the Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.
