Swann showcases Artists of the WPA Jan. 27
NEW YORK — Continuing a tradition of offering specialized auctions, Swann Galleries will offer its second edition of The Artists of the WPA on Thursday, January 27 which aims to call attention to the generation of artists that contributed to the Federal Arts Project and the varying “alphabet agencies” and helped form a new American identity in the 20th century. NEWARK, N.J. – Baldwin Equities and Striker announce that 45 William Street will hold its grand opening May 29, 2021, from 10am-2pm. Located in the heart of Newark’s arts district, 45 William Street is also the site of a brand-new GRAMMY Museum-commissioned, large-scale mosaic mural of Whitney Houston (1963-2012). Houston was a native of Newark and one of the best-selling recording artists of the 1980s and ’90s.
