What are the VIP requirements?

Spend over $50,000 on LiveAuctioneers within a 12-month period, and keep your account in good standing (for example, paying invoices within 3 days of a win).

What happens if I fall below the spend threshold?

Nothing changes right away. You’ll have 3 months to build your spend back up and keep your VIP status. And if status does lapse, the door’s always open to earn it back.

Do auction houses know I’m a VIP bidder?

Yes. Auction houses will see that you’re a VIP when you register or place a bid. It signals that you’re a trusted, active buyer, which can make a difference in competitive auctions.

Is my VIP status public to other bidders?

No. Your VIP status is visible to auction houses, but not to other bidders. It’s designed to build trust with auction houses and reward you for your loyalty.

Why do I still need to wait for approval or have a bid limit?

Your VIP badge is visible to auction houses during review, which can work in your favor — but approval decisions and bid limits are set by each house independently, not by LiveAuctioneers. If you’d like to request a higher limit, contact the auction house directly. Your VIP status may support that conversation. You can also reach out to us and we’ll try to help.

Is there a cost to join?

No. The VIP program is completely free for eligible members. There are no fees or subscriptions.
