Of all the auction houses I've bought from recently Dan Morphy had the fastest turn around time post-auction. Highly recommended.

Quick and easy and adorable!

Not sure anymore about this auction house. Up till now, Dan Morphy has been good to work with however this last auction winnings have not been shipped a month later, tracking info shows it hasn’t been released to FedEx and none is responding to my messages. Is this the beginning of a turn around with this previously reputable auction house?

The items were great and packing was supper as was delivery time. My only concern was they did not get back with me to answer my questions about certain lots for sell.

Very high buyers premiums, shipping was 24.00 but handling added another 28.00, plus insurance of 4.00. Over packaged in a large box which is not necessary as this is a metal sign.

When I got it it "worked" for three pulls, wheel very sluggish, then it stopped completely. It is 100 years old, I get it, but I expected better.

Purchased two rifles from them. Great sellers, very knowledgeable. Rifles were in great shape. Overall very happy. Bid with them with confidence.

Items were fine, Using FedEx was a disaster, usually FedEx is good but not this time, wouldn't release my package and deliver to my residence as their system was down. Had to drive to there warehouse during a global pandemic to pick up my items and as usual had to pay excessive duties and taxes. Will not use an auction house that does not give me the choice to use the postal service of my choice.

Their rating system is completely absurd. Purchased a lalique swan set and they described the condition as near mint +. There were 10 pictures posted on the listing but not one of them showed a major chip to the underside/edge of one of the swans and the condition did not state it. Not sure how any collectible/object in the world can be considered near mint when a chunk of the item is missing.

Great auction house but remember they do charge for state taxes from the state you live in, even if you don't live in Pennsylvania.

I have purchased from Morphy in the past, and as before, communication is good, shipping is secure and the items are as described. No unpleasant surprises. Shipping was a little slower than usual but in deference to Morphy, they had four or five days of firearms auctions over a two week period at the holidays. Not a complaint, and I am very satisfied with the auction house. Only "negative" is that their buyer's premium is a little high at 28 %-most of the other auctions I use are in the 15-20 % range and it does make a difference when purchasing expensive items. Still, great auction house and I recommend them.
