Great auction house but remember they do charge for state taxes from the state you live in, even if you don't live in Pennsylvania.

I have purchased from Morphy in the past, and as before, communication is good, shipping is secure and the items are as described. No unpleasant surprises. Shipping was a little slower than usual but in deference to Morphy, they had four or five days of firearms auctions over a two week period at the holidays. Not a complaint, and I am very satisfied with the auction house. Only "negative" is that their buyer's premium is a little high at 28 %-most of the other auctions I use are in the 15-20 % range and it does make a difference when purchasing expensive items. Still, great auction house and I recommend them.

Completely satisfied with Dan Morphy Auction house. Everything from bidding to payment to shipping went without a hitch. Shipping took a little while, but considering there were over a thousand items in this auction I would say it is understandable it took a little while to go thru all of it. So I gave them 5 stars for shipping because they are only human and have limited number of hands they got born with:))) You won't be disappointed... And even with paying premium I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I had the unfortunate purchase of a firearm that had a cracked buttstock. It was not listed in the description when purchased. When I looked closer after bidding on it, I saw the crack. It took a while to contact them but when I talked to the right person, they told me they were surprised they didn't document it and will allow me to either have them fix it or cancel the auction. Glad to see they will back descriptions than only title of the auction.
