pictures only can make item look a lot better than it really is with a good photography which i feel is misleading to the bidders. So i will not bid or buy again with Dan Morphy Auctions

I had a question about the purchased item. Three calls, leaving a voice mail for each, yielded no response. A fourth call gained a helpful young woman who dutifully assured me of a return call and answer soon. Four days later: no. The company is either flakey or arrogant at responding to clients. In a highly competitive auction environment, this is poor as well as inexplicable.

Dan and Company have done awesome and continually improve above an already excellent experience. The packing was extremely quick and the payment was extremely easy. Good auction

I had been looking for a Clamshell Mutoscope for quite a while. Happy to find a reliable source. Premium a bit pricey so keep that in mind when bidding.

This auction house, in my view, is the least caring for the clients satisfaction!!!! Wont move an extra inch to help.. Not sure why.....

Took 29 days from time of auction to day of delivery to my home. I live 85 miles from the Auction. Not good at all.

I would highlight the transaction fee to make it more clear to the buyer

This is my 5th American Longrifle obtain through Dan Morphy Auctions and I have never been dissatisfied. First and important, Dan Morphy Auctions knows that its your money before its theirs and they will make every effort to make sure all information and services are available to the buyer before making a bid. The firearm descriptions is like reading an old Flayderman's Antique Catalog; the pictures, zoom, camera angles, and background lighting are excellent; questions will be answered within a reasonable amount of time; and when your package arrives, upon lifting it, one knows its been packed solid and safe.-OR-bid through an "As Is" auction house where services may rate non-existent, **********, or poor to fair.

Shipping was a little high for the item. But it was VERY well packed and shipped quickly. I'm satisfied.

Morphy does a GREAT job of describing firearms-condition, background information, etc-far better than any other auction house I've dealt with. They are quick to respond to questions and shipping is prompt. By far my favorite auction site for interesting firearms, even if I don't end up buying!!

On-line bidding results have response delay, so not immediately certain my bid is currently higher. However, it turned out well for me. I haven't opened package yet. Must hold for upcoming special occasion.

Won a Marlin 336 lever action and an Ithaca Model 51 from Morphy Auctions. Description was spot on, even the guys at my FFL were impressed. Easy process all the way. Buyers premium a little high, but I think that of all my auction purchases. Would (will?) definitely do business with Morphy again.

The bowl has no signature at all, although it was mentioned in the description. In addition, you can see from the details that it is not an original. Dan Morphy Auctions does not respond to requests for return or partly refund. I will have to take legal action against the auction house.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that one of the watch crystals was loose.
