This was my first win on Leland Little auctions, though I have won many auctions on liveauctioneers. The item was accurately described, and the shipping quote was very reasonable. The shipper went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I received my items in a timely fashion. Highly recommend!

Shipping charges are 2-3 times greater than comparable rates charged by other auction companies. One pair of miniature decoys weighing 3 pounds including box and packing materials was almost $100. Insurance was charged at double the value of the decoys. Guyette, Copley and Frank & Frank are very fair in their shipping charges. The shipper is ARTA and they are taking advantage of buyers who have no choice if they can’t pick up their winnings. If Leland valued its customers they would change shippers or discuss shipping rate policy. I will not participate in future auctions.

When compared to other auction company's in house shipping, Leland is extremely higher than any other auction company that I have dealt with. Although the item was packaged properly, I see no difference when compared to other quality in shipping, other than the price.

Must be a heavy service fee applied the shipping costs 133 % of the item be careful I had to call twice to find out information about the shipping that should’ve been sent to me with the invoice

I was very nervous purchasing such a large piece from such a distance, but this auction house was extremely professional, very responsive to questions, and their in-house shipping was amazing! This experience would be hard to beat, and I am extremely satisfied with the entire process. I would recommend this auction house for other collectors.

This auction house uses a company called Arta. This made the payment and shipping as easy as can be. Item was packaged perfectly. If only every auction house used this service people, like myself, would be more inclined to buy.

First auction with this house and had a very positive experience. Quick communication, fast shipping, accurate descriptions, very professional. Will deal with them again.

We had 8 chairs and 2 large heavy floor lamps (love them!) to carry from inside warehouse to our van outside. Staff were very helpful in that regard! However, a guy/customer stood at the only door open into a somewhat narrow passage of the warehouse and let his dog block the entrance and exit. Dock door was not in use. It was an issue at the time but small compared to the joy of winning these items-just as described and condition reported. Yay!

I picked up the painting I won from Leland-little and the painting was O. K. as listed. I had planned to pick up earlier when I picked up a couple of items in SC, but time did not allow me to get to Leland-Little on that day. When I did get there to pick up I found the person at pick up to be QUITE unfriendly almost to the point of being rude. I have picked up myself at a number of Auction houses e. g. Freeman's, Material Culture, Weidersiems in PA, Wooten and Wooten in SC, and Tidewater in VA and found them to be very friendly and accommodating. I am a NC native and always thought in NC that we were friendly. WHAT HAPPENED TO SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY? Anyway you want find it here.
