Item ID was wrong
The item I got was no a Native American item. The beads where not from that time line and from the photo I couldn't see that.

Elizabeth, sorry you are unhappy with the purchase of your rifle. This is the first time I am hearing there is an issue... on a public forum. I wish you would've contacted us direct so we can discuss and resolve this in private. We hire professionals to describe our firearms. I do not feel this description was "devious": A Remington Model 550 rifle chambered in. 22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle. Rifle has 24 "barrel fitted with newer iron sights. Finish is worn and has some oxidation present on barrel. Some rust present near muzzle and sights. Wood stock is in good condition with minor nicks and scratches. Bore has some shine to it and has strong rifling, would benefit from a good cleaning. See photos. SN: N/A Please tell us what went wrong here so we can improve our descriptions. Thank you!

Our Buyer Premium is 15 %. 5 % goes to online bidding platform and 3 % goes to credit card fee. We can save you money buy paying with cash or check. LA also charges tax for out of state buyers. We only charge Illinois residents.

Great item! Payment process could be better.
Action house charges a fee for their service and then at payment adds additional service fees. I’m sure it was in the fine print but other auction houses don’t use this method. I also think shipping could better. $30 + for shipping when the item can fit in a flat rate USPS box for $10 seems excessive. Otherwise they were extremely responsive and item is exactly as described. Overall I’m pleased with the transaction.

DONLEY ACCOUNTABLE FOR ERROR
The two small vintage cardboard-packed items (only one of which is shown) included in this auction were not packed individually and the cardboard containers (which were an essential part of the items in this auction) were damaged and torn. I contacted the House immediately and got a call back from the owner who not only expressed his sincere apologies for the damage but also appreciation for bringing this to their attention. He asked me how they could make it right and we agreed on a solution that was generous and satisfied us both. I've bought a lot from Donley and this is the first time this has happened so very pleased that they were so responsive and accountable. I'm already bidding on another of their auctions. z
