Description
STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF THREE, comprising two from the Lace Border series including "Erie Canal / at Buffalo" and "Windsor / Castle", and a purple/mulberry transfer example featuring "COLUMBUS", with two indigenous people holding bows and arrows. Marks include various printed names and impressed "ADAMS" to underside. William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent; Ralph Stevenson, Cobridge, England. Circa 1835. 9 3/8" to 10 3/8" D.
Two undamaged with some minor usage wear; Windsor Castle example having a flake to foot ring.
