Description
STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC CUP PLATES, LOT OF THREE, comprising one example featuring the Chinese Bird Catchers pattern, one depicting the Three Pagodas/Huts design, and one featuring a church in Domo D'Ossola from the Italian Scenery series. Impressed marks include eagle encircled with "ADAMS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE" and rosette to underside. Ralph Stevenson, Cobridge; William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent; Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. Circa 1830. 3 5/8" to 4 1/8" D.
