Description

A Queen Anne or George I English tall case clock by John Shaw (English, active 1675-1718). The brass face decorated with foliate details and putti holding crowns in the corners, surmounted by mythical beasts with scrolling details surrounding a central circular medallion engraved "Tempus fugit". The dial signed John Shaw, Holborne.
H. 85 1/2" W. 18 1/2" D. 9"
