PENNSYLVANIA POLYCHROME-DECORATED EARTHENWARE / REDWARE SPANIEL FIGURAL BANK, lead-, copper-, and manganese-glazed, left-facing hollow seated form with closed front legs and coleslaw decoration to mane and end of tail, coin slot to underside. Attributed to George Wagner, Carbon Co., PA. Second half 19th century. 7" H, 3" x 4 1/8" base.
Excellent undamaged condition except for some scattered minute losses to mane.
