U.S. Colonial Currency, Massachusetts. 20 Dollars, May 5, 1780 (Fr-MA284). One of the signers of this note (though his signature is rather faint) is Loammi Baldwin. Baldwin attained the rank of Colonel during the Revolutionary War and commanded the Woburn Militia as a Major in the Battle of Lexington and Concord. He is also known (among his many other accomplishments) as the Father of American Civil Engineering. About EF with a cut-out cancellation in the signature block. Est. $60.
