Signed Japanese wakizashi measuring 17-15/16" to the muni machi with staight and wavy temper line, silver habaki, and having a wood scabbard, round pierced iron tsuba in a woven design with applied brass decorations, and cloth wrapped grip with a menuki on each side.
It has a bright blade with scattered rust, some shallow nicks, and the very last 1/8" of the tip broken off. Untouched patina on the tsuba, cracked scabbard missing the throat, worn wrap.
