Hill & Adamson (Scotland, fl. 1840-1850), Miss Munro, Calotype, c. 1843-1847, calotype by David Octavius Hill (Scottish, 1802Ð1870) and Robert Adamson (Scottish, 1821Ð1848), depicting Miss Justine Monro seated with box and vase of flowers, with pen inscription 'a D. O. Hill photograph' on verso, mounted.Reference: Other prints of this same image can be found in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, The National Gallery, Scotland, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

Overall fair condition, toning, fading, wear and creases and small tears to edges, some foxing, rubbing along left edge, stain in bottom quadrant near bottom right corner, small losses in edges and bottom left and lower right corner, photo possibly trimmed, photo fully mounted.
