Hill and His Nieces in Greyfriars' Churchyard below the Dennistoun Monument, with pen inscription 'photograph taken inÉ.. on silver plate' on verso, mounted.Reference: A copy of this same image can be found in the collections of the J. Paul Getty Museum and the National Gallery of Scotland.

Overall good vintage condition, toning to paper, image faded, wear to edges, creases in corners, stain mid left in monument, pin hole bottom right corner, photo possibly trimmed, photo fully mounted.
