Longstreet all writing about issues between each other and at home, Kenyon being wounded, Burnside being a Democrat, Being Odd Fellows, Joking with Kenyon about officers, The Gov sends his love, Officers being drunk in camp, School boy soldiers age 14 to 16, Mounting a Battery and Marines ferry, Regarding pay for the men, Rebs shooting pickets, Crossing the river and routing the Rebs, Lying in the battle field for hours, Liberty, Women in the south, Richmond and on the move, Officers under arrest including Lt. Peleg Peckham, Voting of officers illegal and outside of orders, and military preparation for program of the day. Some of the letters are transcribed. Also included are several transcribed letters that are no long present that are lost.
