A Cloisonné-Enamel Rounded Square Tray
Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century
Conceived in the manner of Namikawa Sosuke, worked in copper wire with a cockerel, hen, and chick on a taupe-grey ground, bordered by a band of stylised butterflies among overlapping half-chrysanthemum blossoms, the underside decorated with a large peony blossom within a circular panel and surrounded by stylised tendrils; signed Kinzan with a seal Kinzan. 27.6cm x 27.6cm (10 7/8in x 10 7/8in).
