This Woven Silk Memorial Portrait of Abraham Lincoln measures about 6.25" x 8.5". Trimmed irregular at bottom with some soiling and stained at the lower right corner. It shows a large Portrait of Lincoln at center with spread-winged American Heraldic Eagle with Shield below, made by Carquillat and Allardet, French. Listed as number "406" on page 196 of "Threads of History" where it is noted this item was specially produced for exhibition at the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition.
